Kakapo - The Night Parrot 2020

For my graduation project, I wanted to do something that I was passionate about, and one of my favourite animals is the Kakapo, an endangered bird species located in New Zealand.
In 2019, they had a booming year of increased population and breeding, but also fought against a respiratory disease which threatened to cripple their numbers, but they fought through it. Today there are only 210 of these fascinating birds.
